A few words about Ray
Ray Is describes himself as a "discreet bear", an analogy that is echoed in his music.
Simple, readable and clean. He finds in music an authentic expression of his being, a reflection of his
deepest aspirations. His unique style of Folk playing, combining melody and accompaniment, is the result of years of
passion and practice, allowing us to sculpt a distinctive musical universe.
Influenced by the music of the genre that Ray listened to since his childhood, the repertoire was then formed around the tradition of singer-songwriter guitarists such as Bert Jansch, Donovan, Gillian Welch, JC Frank, W. Zevon, Jerry Jeff Walker, Mary Gauthier, Jeff Bridges but also the contemporaries Eddie Vedder, Emiliana Torrini, Kris Drever, Jason Isbell and other Frenchmen Yodelice, Kerenn Ann and Hugo Barriol.
Ray plays in "Fingerpicking", a style that he is particularly fond of since his adolescence, allowing him to play the melody and its accompaniment, to carve the music and to sculpt a universe, a world of one's own that we want to discover by people. ropes.
