Ray Is describes himself as a "discreet bear", an analogy that is echoed in his music.

Simple, readable and clean. He finds in music an authentic expression of his being, a reflection of his

deepest aspirations. His unique style of Folk playing, combining melody and accompaniment, is the result of years of

passion and practice, allowing us to sculpt a distinctive musical universe.

Influenced by the music of the genre that Ray listened to since his childhood, the repertoire was then formed around the tradition of singer-songwriter guitarists such as Bert Jansch, Donovan, Gillian Welch, JC Frank, W.
